Nauti Rally Sunday 29th September 2013

Well, another great day was had by all of the 36 members who attended the Nauti Rally on Sunday!

The rally organized by Pam and Nick started from Palmanova and the object of the exercise, was to watch out for the balloon markers and stop to collect tags which were showing a nautical flag which represents the alphabet. In all there were 11 to collect on route to our final stop at the Canet Restaurant at Esglieta.

With the letters our next task was to form a two word famous destination as well as to think up as many words with a minimum of 7 letters as possible.

The overall winner was Paco driving his 1940 Oldsmobile who also achieved 13 words!

It was rally that was full of incident, and we now have a new vehicle, a Morgan-Healy, thanks to a spare wheel being available for Hans Peters car after a puncture. Maybe it was because he was wearing his Scottish attire!

Our thanks to Pam and Nick for the organizing of a great event, where the choice of Restaurant was also superb!
