The Culture Shock Rally 28 July 2013

Rally Report

The early evening rally started at 5pm in Marina Port and took 16 cars on a clue hunt along the coast of South West Mallorca. The objective was to identify the Car Name and Model, not very easy, the not so famous but cute ZAZ-965 Zaporozhets was made in the USSR during the 1950s. Some of the notable places to collect clues were the Miro Foundation, Puerto Portals and Nikki Beach in Magaluf.

The Rally ended in a private car park at Sa Taronja in Andratx where we enjoyed an evening of great food accompanied by live music performed by Jipsy.

The tie breaker of the heaviest cup of sand from Palmanova beach was not needed as the winning team of Ray and Sue Dodd were the only ones to get all the answers right. Joint second place with only one clue wrong were Hans Peter and Elke Dinsing and Pam Gardner with her navigator Sheila.

See you at another event soon, Jane and Robert Klevenhagen
